FIND THE RIGHT GUIDANCE
Where should you start?
This only points you to a section. Full terms are below.
How to submit a claim
To submit a claim, send a signed application by email or through EDI. You can call us for advice, but a phone call does not replace a written claim.
Application forms
Choose the appropriate document, complete and sign it, then send it to the Seller using one of the methods above. You may attach photos of the item, packaging, labels and purchase documents.
How to send the item and documents
- Complete and sign the appropriate application. Include the order or invoice number, purchase date, item name and quantity, your specific request, contact details and, if needed, bank details.
- Send the document to cmc@bazabtc.com or through EDI. If possible, attach purchase documents and photos of the item, labels, packaging, visible damage and other materials relevant to your claim.
- Wait for the Seller to confirm the return.
- To help us identify the return, include the shipment number and enclose a copy of the application or a cover note. Do not send original documents that you may need later.
- Pack the item securely, taking its characteristics and the carrier’s recommendations into account. Protect electronic components from mechanical damage and use anti-static packaging when required.
- After receiving the item, the Seller will inspect it and, if necessary, check its quality. We will send the result and next steps to the contact details in your application.
1. Purchases by individuals
This section applies when an individual purchases goods for personal, household or other needs unrelated to business. These relations are governed by Russian Law No. 2300-1 of 7 February 1992 “On Consumer Rights Protection”.
1.1. Cancelling a distance purchase of non-defective goods
Under Article 26.1 of the Russian Law “On Consumer Rights Protection”, a consumer may cancel a purchase:
- at any time before the goods are handed over;
- within 7 calendar days after the goods are handed over.
Conditions for returning non-defective goods
Non-defective goods may be returned if their appearance and consumer properties are preserved. We recommend including proof of purchase.
Non-defective goods with individually defined properties cannot be returned if they can be used only by the specific buyer for whom they were made. This is determined for each item based on its actual characteristics and the buyer’s individual requirements.
Please note
Goods showing signs of use, installation, soldering, damaged leads, modified firmware or other changes do not meet the condition of preserving their original appearance. Such goods cannot be returned or exchanged.
The right under Article 26.1 of the Russian Law is the right to cancel the purchase and receive a refund.
By agreement, an exchange for a different model, item number or quantity may be arranged as a return followed by a new order, or in another agreed way.
1.2. How to return non-defective goods
The buyer may choose a convenient return method that allows the Seller to receive the item and inspect its condition:
- hand-deliver the item during office hours to: Office 12, 6 Pakgauznoye Highway, building 9, Moscow, 125438;
- send the item to that address using a carrier, courier service or postal service.
Shipping and costs
The possibility of returning goods remotely and the consumer’s right to choose a return method were confirmed by Russian Constitutional Court Resolution No. 7-P of 17 February 2026.
When returning non-defective goods, the buyer pays return shipping and bears the risk of accidental loss or damage in transit. We recommend secure packaging, keeping shipping documents and sending the Seller the individual-buyer application in advance. This helps us identify the return sooner but does not limit the buyer’s choice of delivery method.
Important
Do not send goods cash on delivery without prior written agreement. Cash on delivery requires the recipient to make an additional payment and is not a required part of the return process.
1.3. Refunds for non-defective goods
The amount paid for the goods is refunded no later than 10 calendar days after the goods are returned to the Seller or, where needed, after the quality check is completed. The Seller’s costs of delivering returned goods from the buyer may be deducted if the Seller arranged or paid for that delivery. If the buyer paid for return shipping, there is no basis to deduct that cost again.
Refunds are made using the original payment method and in accordance with payment laws. To receive a bank transfer, include the necessary details in your application. The time it takes for the funds to arrive may depend on the bank or payment system.
1.4. Defective goods
Consumer rights when a defect is found are set out in Articles 18–24 of the Russian Law “On Consumer Rights Protection”. Depending on the circumstances, a consumer may request:
- replacement with the same brand, model and/or item number;
- replacement with a different brand, model or item number, with the corresponding price adjustment;
- a refund of the amount paid for the goods.
Deadlines and shipping defective goods
For technically complex goods included in the list approved by Russian Government Resolution No. 924 of 10 November 2011, a refund or replacement may be requested within 15 days after the goods are handed over if a defect is found.
After that period, such requests are granted in the cases set out in paragraph 1 of Article 18 of the Law: where there is a material defect, a repair deadline is missed, or the item cannot be used for more than 30 days in each warranty year because different defects are repeatedly repaired.
When returning defective goods, we recommend secure packaging, keeping shipping documents and sending the Seller the individual-buyer defective-goods application in advance. This helps us identify the return sooner but does not limit the buyer’s choice of delivery method.
The Seller must accept goods with a reported defect and, if necessary, inspect their quality at the buyer’s expense. The consumer may take part in the inspection. If an expert examination finds that the defect arose for reasons for which the Seller is not responsible, the consumer reimburses the examination, storage and transport costs provided for by law.
The defective item must be returned if the Seller requests it. The Seller arranges and pays to transport bulky goods or goods weighing more than 5 kg for repair, replacement, price reduction or return. If the buyer must arrange transport in a situation provided for by law, documented costs are reimbursed.
Main deadlines: refunds, price reductions and reimbursement of costs provided for by law — up to 10 days after the item is returned to the Seller or, if needed, after its quality check; replacement — up to 10 days after return, up to 21 days if an additional quality check is needed, or up to 1.5 months if a replacement is unavailable; a repair period agreed in writing cannot exceed 45 days.
The applicable deadline depends on the request and the relevant provisions of the law.
2. Business purchases by companies and sole proprietors
When goods are purchased by a company or sole proprietor, the Russian Law “On Consumer Rights Protection” does not apply. The parties’ rights and obligations are governed by the Civil Code of the Russian Federation, the contract, invoice, specification, shipping documents and other agreed terms.
2.1. Non-defective goods
The law does not give business buyers an unconditional right to return non-defective goods because they “changed their mind”. Under Article 421 of the Civil Code, a return or exchange is possible if the contract, invoice or another agreement expressly allows it, or if the Seller agrees to it separately in writing.
Do not send goods back before receiving written approval. The approval should specify the items, their condition and completeness, how and when they will be handed over, who pays transport costs, and the refund amount and timing or terms of credit.
2.2. Defects, discrepancies and acceptance
The buyer must inspect and check received goods within the procedure and deadlines set by the contract and Article 513 of the Civil Code, and promptly notify the Seller in writing of any discrepancies.
Articles 475 and 518 of the Civil Code apply to defective goods. Depending on the issue, the buyer may make requests provided for by law and contract, including a price reduction or correction of defects; for a material breach of quality requirements, the buyer may cancel the contract and request a refund or replacement.
The Seller may request the item for inspection, quality checks or examination. The parties agree on how it will be handed over, packaging, documents and allocation of costs. Until instructions are received, the buyer must preserve goods they are entitled to reject and avoid actions that could make it harder to determine the cause of a defect.
Returns
When returning goods, we recommend secure packaging, keeping shipping documents and sending the Seller the company or sole-proprietor application in advance.
Important
Sending goods back without the Supplier’s prior written approval does not mean that the return has been accepted. Cash-on-delivery shipments are accepted only with separate written approval.
